Online Learning Officer
Location: Hybrid/Aylesford, Kent
Salary/package: £24,310 to £28,879 pro rata

Hours: Part time, 22.5 hours per week
The Education People (TEP) are looking for a creative individual with a visual eye for design to join their growing team as an Online Learning Officer. The successful candidate will help shape and deliver engaging digital learning experiences. The Online Learning Officer will play a key role in developing, publishing, and maintaining The Education People’s online learning products, ensuring high-quality and engaging digital resources. The role supports customers through the CPD Helpdesk, enforces brand and quality standards, and contributes to continuous improvement and innovation.
What you’ll be doing
- Support the design, development, and publishing of engaging online learning products, including e-learning courses and webinars.
- Upload, format, and maintain digital resources, presentations, and multimedia content across learning platforms (e.g., Moodle, CRM).
- Review and proofread content to ensure accuracy, functionality, and alignment with brand and quality assurance standards.
- Provide first-line customer support via the CPD Helpdesk, responding to online learning enquiries.
- Assist in creating and maintaining user guides, documentation, and video tutorials.
- Keep content up to date with current guidance and best practice, supporting quality assurance processes.
- Contribute to process improvements, including the integration of AI tools into online learning programmes.
- Build strong relationships across teams, fostering collaboration and promoting online learning.
- Provide administrative support, maintain accurate records, and deputise for the Online Learning Manager when required.
What we’re looking for
Previous experience contributing to the creation of digital resources
- Strong digital design skills, particularly using Canva
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
- Proven ability to simplify complex information for diverse audiences
- A powerful imagination and creativity in developing new ideas
- Ability to learn and work confidently with new IT systems as required
