Microsoft 365 Specialist

Location: Kings Hill/Hybrid

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Microsoft 365 Specialist to join our Enterprise Services team at Cantium Business Solutions. As a key subject matter expert within the department, you will play a critical role in maximizing the benefits of the Microsoft 365 product suite for our customers, ensuring it aligns with best practices and delivers maximum value.

In this role, you will support the wider team, foster skill development, and help us keep pace with the latest M365 innovations. You will also be involved in large-scale infrastructure changes, delivering technical solutions, and ensuring security compliance. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain an M365 service roadmap, tracking changes, introductions, and retirements while working with teams and customers to implement necessary actions.
• Identify skill requirements for M365 functionality and create training plans to upskill the team.
• Lead internal knowledge sharing, providing training to team members to build M365 expertise across the organization.
• Provide technical leadership, working alongside the Enterprise Systems Team Manager to evaluate and plan team activities.
• Contribute to project design by attending Technical Design Authority meetings and ensuring future services align with operational requirements.
• Develop technical solutions based on industry best practices, maintaining network and security infrastructure integrity.
• Lead large-scale infrastructure changes, from planning to implementation, related to M365 services.
• Investigate complex issues, working with users, colleagues, and suppliers to resolve them.
• Create and maintain essential documentation, including high-level and low-level design documents.

What we need:

• A relevant Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant technical field.
• Microsoft certifications (e.g., MS-102, MD-102, Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert) and/or ITIL qualifications.
• Significant experience in a similar M365 lead role, delivering complex technical solutions.
• Extensive experience configuring and maintaining M365 infrastructure.
• Proven experience working on large-scale, high-impact projects.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to create and document high and low-level designs.
• Experience in managing M365 security measures and compliance.
